boneca menina
Estas bonecas-meninas demoram a ficar prontas. Sinto sempre necessidade de as deixar descansar entre o cortar o pano e o rechear, depois até lhes nascer o cabelo e a cara (até essa altura a E. pede para as ver - lalá é a palavra para boneca - mas pisca os olhos e aponta confusa para onde os da boneca deviam estar).
Na manhã seguinte parece sempre que estão diferentes e que andaram a cerscer e a brincar enquanto dormíamos.

my neighborhood was SOOOOOOOO loud and crazy! all night!
i wonder if they go as crazy in portugal over soccer, or if they do here because they miss home?

It's funny that Rhya wrote me today saying the same thing:How are things in Portugal with the Euro Cup? My area is CRAZY! Every time Portugal wins a game the streets become jammed with Portuguese flags and lots of honking horns. Everyone gets really excited, it's total mayhem.
